The Mind and Body Can Be Reset
September 5, 2013Early on a Friday morning a man in his forties came into my office seeking therapy. He described himself as happily married and a father to three young children, a son and two daughters. He said that he works as an attorney in a firm that specializes in personal injury. He told me that he and his wife had been arguing more and more over the last couple of months and he wanted to take steps to stop this. He expressed worry that their conflict might be affecting their children. He said that his wife wanted him to come and see me to get some help with his irritability and anger. Let’s just say, for the purposes of this story, that this man’s name is Tim.
